Tennant T500e Manual, Service Indicators & Troubleshooting

Use a T500e-specific document. Start with the operator manual below, record the complete indicator pattern, and separate solution delivery from dirty-water recovery.

T500e operator manual and useful pages

Download manufacturer manual 9015506, Rev. 05, February 2024, North America / International. Printed pages 24–25 cover service indicators; pages 42–43 cover troubleshooting. In this PDF, printed page 24 is viewer page 23; printed page 43 is viewer page 42.

Check the cover revision and machine label before using a bookmarked PDF. Record whether the issue occurs during normal scrubbing, charging or use of an optional system. The same general description, such as “red light,” can send a reader to the wrong table.

How to record a flashing service indicator

The page-24 reference uses the flashing service indicator together with a pattern across the battery-display LEDs. The next page separates charger and optional ec-H2O faults. Record both the light pattern and the operating state.

Draw the LEDs from left to right and mark each as flashing, steady or off. Do not translate the pattern into a number from another machine’s chart. Leave any unknown position marked “uncertain”; a clear photo is more useful than a guessed code.

No solution flow versus poor water pickup

  • Little or no flow: printed page 43 lists the solution level, flow setting, filter and supply line.
  • Water trailing behind: the same page lists recovery-tank fullness or foam, drain cap, squeegee and drip trap, hoses, float screen and lid seals.
  • Vacuum does not run: printed page 42 distinguishes squeegee position from detected faults and motor/wiring issues.

When reporting a problem, specify where the water is missing or accumulating. “No water” could mean no liquid at the scrub head, no liquid entering the recovery tank, or an empty solution tank. Describe the observation rather than naming a replacement part.

How to find the correct T500e parts or service manual

Tennant’s official document-search guidance says to search by model, part number or document name and filter for Documents. Service manuals require a My Account sign-in. This guide does not promise a public service-manual download.

Send the supplier: T500e model and serial, market/region, head type and width, fitted options, assembly name and the part’s location. Ask them to confirm the serial range and document revision before ordering. Do not assume that a T500 parts listing applies because the names look similar.

Scope, sources and safety
