Which swingo 455 manual should I use?
The official swingo 455B V002 AM PDF includes English instructions. Printed page 11 covers maintenance, page 12 malfunctions, and page 13 technical information. Those are PDF viewer pages 13, 14 and 15 respectively. The manufacturer’s download page also lists CH and DDM documents and a 455E wallchart.
Keep the full model suffix, region and document filename in your maintenance record. Do not substitute a wallchart for the complete operating instructions. If a downloaded document does not match the control layout or nameplate, ask the local TASKI service partner to identify the applicable edition before following it.
Choose the relevant symptom before choosing a part
The AM malfunction table separates poor suction from insufficient solution. Pickup entries include suction activation, hose connection, nozzle position, blade wear and blockages. Flow entries include the solution tank, volume setting and solution button. A rotating motor with a stationary brush is referred to service for a possible drive-belt problem.
- Water remains behind the machine: describe the trail width and whether suction is audible. State whether the issue is immediate or begins later in the shift.
- Little liquid reaches the cleaning path: identify what you can see at the floor, rather than saying only “no water.” Keep this report separate from recovery-tank observations.
- Brush behavior is abnormal: record the sound, display and operating state. Do not reach into a running drive or repeatedly restart it to prove the symptom.
Carry out only the checks allowed by the applicable operator instructions and site procedure. Record the result of each permitted action. Several symptoms occurring together may need a different service investigation from a single worn consumable.
Why do some 455 specifications differ?
The AM manual lists a 43 cm working width, 24 V DC supply and a nominal 25 L fresh-water tank. The linked regional product page describes a 22 L tank. This is a source discrepancy, not a reason to average the values. Confirm the exact version and serial with TASKI before planning capacity or purchasing.
For a fleet spreadsheet, keep one column for the value and another for its source. Enter “requires confirmation” where two documents disagree. A precise-looking specification copied without its version can be less useful than a clearly identified gap.
