Part number and compatibility reference

Floor cleaning equipment parts identification

Prepare a parts-identification request with the machine model, component and known part number. This page provides a compatibility checklist; it does not offer a verified part-number interchange database.

Browse parts by component

Use the component group to narrow a search when the original part number is unavailable.

Tennant T7 recovery-system parts checklist

For poor water pickup, identify the component before ordering. Start with the serial plate and current parts manual, then compare the installed assembly.

Confirm fitment against the exact model, serial range and installed configuration before ordering.

Match the part to the machine before ordering

A similar part name or appearance does not confirm compatibility. Record the exact machine model, serial number, scrub-head size and any number printed on the component. Use the manufacturer parts diagram to identify the assembly and verify fit with the supplier before purchase. This library is a reference service, not a parts store.

Build a traceable parts request

Use the exact parts catalog and assembly diagram to distinguish the diagram callout from the orderable part number. An operator-manual number is not a replacement-part number.

  1. Machine identity: full model, product/order number, serial range, power variant, deck size and fitted options.
  2. Document identity: catalog number, revision, region, assembly heading and page.
  3. Component identity: diagram item number, listed part number, description, quantity and any serial or option note.
  4. Installed item: readable marking and a safe external photo if available. Do not remove protected components to complete a request.
  5. Supplier confirmation: ask whether the part number was superseded, whether the replacement is a kit, and whether the kit needs other components or qualified installation.

Questions to resolve before ordering

  • Does the serial note apply to this exact assembly?
  • Is the reference for a left/right part, front/rear blade or specific deck?
  • Is the listed item a complete assembly, a subcomponent or a service kit?
  • Is a proposed brand crossover documented by the manufacturer, or only assumed from appearance?

If a point is unresolved, mark it unconfirmed and ask the manufacturer or supplier. Brand ownership changes and similar dimensions are not sufficient evidence of interchangeability.
