SOURCE-LINKED MODEL REFERENCE

Tennant T5 Manual, Fault Lights & Water Pickup Guide

Start with the T5 label, not a similar model name. This reference links the North America / International T5 manuals and helps you record a warning light or cleaning symptom before contacting service.

Which Tennant T5 manual should I use?

  • Operator manual 9002326: Rev. 08, October 2015; North America / International. Troubleshooting is on printed pages 37–39; the control-panel fault table is on page 40.
  • Parts manual 9002329: Rev. 17, June 2017; North America / International. The contents distinguish disk and cylindrical heads, serial ranges and solution-system variants.

Before ordering, send the supplier the complete model and serial number, scrub-head configuration, region and the catalog revision you used. A part pictured in a T5 catalog is not automatically suitable for every T5. Keep the assembly heading and reference number with your request rather than sending an isolated part number.

What do T5 fault lights mean?

The manufacturer’s page-40 table identifies combinations of numbered lights. For example, a blinking light 1 denotes a raised recovery tank; rippling lights 1–3 denote a connected charger. Lights 1 and 4 blinking identify left-brush motor overload.

Record which lights flash together and which remain steady. “Three flashes” is not the same description as “lights 1, 2 and 3 ripple.” Capture a short video only with the machine safely stationary. Do not interpret this display using the T7 beep chart or the T500/T500e LED table.

T5 leaving water behind or not putting out water

Printed page 38 separates water recovery from solution delivery. Pickup references include tank fullness or foam, drain-cap sealing, squeegee condition, hoses and the recovery-cover seal. Low flow references include solution level and the tank filter. Motor or control-board faults require service.

Describe the result before choosing a repair: is the floor dry behind the brush, wet behind the squeegee, or streaked in one narrow line? Note whether it starts immediately or later in the shift, whether the vacuum is audible, and whether a warning appears. These observations help service choose the relevant section; they do not prove a failed component.
