Viper AS380/15B: Document Guide & Daily Care Record

Check the B or C suffix before using a document. The AS380/15 family includes battery and cable machines. This guide links the official operating poster and provides a practical care record; the poster is not a full operator manual.

AS380/15B and AS380/15C are different configurations

The official Viper regional product page describes a compact scrubber for narrow indoor spaces and lists battery and cable versions. Its selected AS380/15B-UK is product 50000200, rated 24V. The listed AS380/15C-UK is product 50000202, rated 230–240V. Regional suffixes and product numbers matter.

Copy the complete nameplate identification into the fleet record. For battery machines, also record the installed battery and charger identification. Do not infer charger compatibility from the family name. For a cable machine, use the instructions applicable to its rated supply and region.

What does the official download contain?

The product page’s “Use and maintenance” download opens a two-page AS380/15 operating poster dated July 2018. Page 1 illustrates preparation and controls. Page 2 covers routine care. It is useful as a reminder, but it is not a complete manual or a comprehensive fault-code table.

Request the full instructions matching the product number and serial from the manufacturer or authorized supplier before operation. Keep the poster alongside that document. If a search result calls a poster an “owner manual,” check the actual cover and contents before relying on it for service or safety instructions.

Turn daily care into a usable record

The maintenance poster shows emptying and cleaning the recovery tank, emptying the solution tank, inspecting the brush or pad, cleaning squeegee blades, a weekly filter check and parking with the recovery cover open. Charging imagery applies to battery equipment.

Use a short record to distinguish an action from an assumption. “Checked” alone does not tell the next shift whether debris, wear or damage was found. Write the observation and any action permitted by the complete operator instructions.

Date / operator: ___
Model / serial: ___
Tank observations and care completed: ___
Blade condition: ___
Brush or pad identification / condition: ___
Filter inspection due / completed: ___
Unresolved issue and person notified: ___

Describe the symptom before requesting a replacement

  • A wet trail: record its width and location, whether suction is audible, and when the problem begins.
  • A dry cleaning path: describe the visible solution delivery and selected settings. Keep this distinct from poor recovery.
  • Soil remains: record the floor type, soil, accessory and detergent used. A poor finish alone does not identify a failed motor.
  • The machine stops: preserve the displayed indication and operating circumstances. Do not invent a flash-code meaning from another Viper model.

Carry out only operator-permitted checks after stopping and isolating the machine as directed. Internal electrical, battery and motor diagnosis should go to qualified service. A clear record lets the technician choose the next investigation without treating a tentative cause as a confirmed fault.

For a parts request, send the complete model and existing component identification and ask for serial compatibility confirmation. Read our pad and brush selection worksheet or browse the equipment index.
